Product Description

Known as "Chicago's Wonder Palace," King Joy Lo offered over 150 Chinese offerings which could be combined to create "shopper's novelty luncheons" served Mandarin style, and had an even larger American kitchen with some 300 dishes available. They even boasted "table telephone service all over the house". The Chinese use a traditional language-free method of indicating that an establishment houses a restaurant by flying a long yellow three-tailed triangular flag. Called a triple pennon, King Joy Lo's fancy version features swirly edge trim called flammules.
