Product Description

This friendly little whale with a big smile welcomed hungry children at The Cove restaurant at Pier 56 on the seafront in Seattle, Washington, in the 1960s.

Some of the meals for under 12s came with titles – fish and chips were a “Pirate’s Delight’ and ‘Long John Silver’ was a bowl of clam chowder, French fries and orangeade.

Seafood restaurants still dominate Seattle’s waterfront, with a distance of one mile between Piers 54 and 70.

We’re not sure when The Cove closed and will update when we have more information.

Gallery quality Giclée print on natural white, matte, 100% cotton rag, acid and lignin free archival paper using Epson archival inks. Custom printed with border for matting and framing.
