A fish gently plucks a harp and a string section of musically-minded prawns creates a gorgeous little seafood quartet in this delicately drawn vintage menu cover illustration from The Russell Hotel in Dublin, Ireland.
Established in the 1880s, The Russell grew to have a reputation for haute cuisine thanks to the number of French and Irish chefs who worked there. The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in the 1970s and three stars in the influential Egon Ronay Guide.
This establishment closed in 1974.
